WELCOME

The Ridgewood Station, was built as a South Side Railroad Depot of Long Island from 1867-1875 and was later renamed Wantagh in 1891. At Historic Ridgewood Station Tavern, we hope to bring a warm nostalgic ride back in time to our neighbors in Wantagh, New York. We have taken the time at the Ridgewood Station Tavern to create a comfortable & inviting atmosphere with a simple menu boasting traditional comfort food to appeal to everyone. Our Restaurant & Bar features a one of a kind 26 foot long, custom made mahogany bar, photos of Ridgewood past and old school, comfortable leather high back bar chairs to make sure our patrons have an enjoyable restaurant experience that will keep them coming back. Whether you take an express here or just choose to Drink Local, make your next stop, Ridgewood Station.
